Phanos Pitiris

Phanos Pitiris has over 25 years of diverse professional experience in a number of areas including the establishment and management of technology start-ups, the sales of information technology solutions and the management of information technology companies, venture capital investments related to high tech start-ups, the establishment and management of a high technology business incubator/accelerator, the management of projects funded by the European Commission related to innovation and entrepreneurship and the banking sector. This extensive array of know-how has been accumulated internationally in the United States, Europe and Israel and includes 15 plus years of related international executive management experience.

Some of the highlights of his long career include cofounding and running a number of high technology startups in the US in the areas of Non Destructive Evaluation with clients like NASA, the U.S. Navy and Ford Motors, PC/TV technologies which incorporated the internet and media for use at home and business and featured in a number of US publications as one of the early pioneers in the industry and Internet Technologies with focus on advanced web designs and applications with clients like DARPA.

Phanos closely worked for many years with Israeli VCs serving on the investment committee of a $64 million Israeli fund with focus on high tech startups and a number of successful exits including the sale of portfolio companies to NASDAQ and NYSE listed companies.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors and Board of Managers of Capital Stream Management S.A., a Luxemburg registered investment management company. In addition, he is the Supreme Governor of AHEPA in Europe and serves on the organization’s Board in Washington DC. Phanos is also on the Advisory Board of the Business School at the European University Cyprus, a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International and a member of CYBAN. Phanos educational background is in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.
